PATHWAYS & APPROACHES

Dr. Emma O’Byrne has worked in a variety of clinical settings with clients in paediatric and adult services in the public health and private mental health and neurodevelopmental services for over 7 years. This experience has allowed her to hear from clients about the challenges and barriers they've experienced when trying to access psychological assessment and support both through public and private services. At New Perspectives we know the best approach is the one that you are most likely to engage with and that fits with your available time, finances and energy resources. New Perspectives was born out of a desire to offer a psychology service that listens to the clients needs and responds with understanding and meaningful interventions and guidance. We place value on the human side of our practice and helping client improve their day to day life.

WHAT WE CAN HELP WITH

Our services can support individuals across the continuum of mental health.

From those who are experiencing mild distress or hoping to find self-actualisation, to those whose daily lives are significantly impacted by: anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, relationship problems, post traumatic stress disorder, low self-esteem and other mental health challenges.

We also offer ADHD and Learning assessments for children under 18 years.

How you view yourself, other people and the world dictates how you behave and that influences entirely the life you have.

If you want to change your life get to know your mind.
